Lalique Pearls Vase

A fragment of plaster depicting a parakeet motif was discovered in René Lalique's former workshops. It was discovered that Lalique had created it for a vase he had made entirely of wax and exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Now produced using the lost-wax technique, the Perruches Vase recreates this motif, bringing pairs of parakeets to life. Nestled among the flowers and illuminated by the crystal, they appear light and elegant. The production process requires several weeks of work, during which Lalique's master glassmakers demonstrate their talent, passion, and expertise in the creation and emotion of this true work of art.
