Riedel Black Tie Amadeo Decanter, black color

The Amadeo decanter was launched in 2006 to celebrate RIEDEL's 250th anniversary. It is named after Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who also celebrated his 250th birthday that year. This hand-blown glass decanter is shaped like a lyre and pours wine like a dream. The wine easily decanted through the wider opening of the vessel and poured into the glass through the narrower rim.

This piece features a black stripe across the surface, achieved by inserting a black crystal rod into the molten glass before completing the decanter shaping.

Our master glassmakers handcraft each piece individually, ensuring each piece has a unique character. Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, small variations in size and weight, bubbles, imperfections, or slight surface variations may occur.

Avoid overfilling the decanter. It is designed to hold precise quantities of liquid: 0.75 L for the standard size, 1.5 L for the magnum, and 3 L for the jeroboam.
