The Venini brand was founded in 1921 by Paolo Venini, a Milanese lawyer fascinated by the art of Murano glass , and Giacomo Cappellin, a Venetian antiques dealer. They were joined by Vittorio Zecchin, a Venetian artist of great sensitivity, who assumed the role of artistic director.
