BEFORE EACH USE: Wash the tool thoroughly with warm, soapy water, rinse and dry.

PRECAUTIONS:

• Never leave empty cookware on a heat source. Do not let the flame spill over the bottom. As soon as the contents boil, reduce the gas or electricity supply: the heat-diffusing base will maintain the temperature inside the vessel.
• Be careful with salt: don't add it cold, as the salt crystals cause an electrolytic and chemical reaction that can corrode steel. It's best to wait until the water boils.

CLEANING:

• Do not use detergents containing chlorine, such as bleach (sodium hypochlorite), as they can attack stainless steel.
• Avoid violent impacts and sudden changes in temperature. Do not cool abruptly.
• Do not use to store foods containing citric, acetic, or lactic acid. To remove iridescent stains caused by overheating, use only products specifically designed for stainless steel.
• To remove any whitish stains caused by limescale, boil water with vinegar, let it cool and wash as usual.
