Berkel Acacia Wood Cutting Board
The Berkel Cutting Board, a simple cutting board to complete the Berkel concept in the kitchen. Made of durable solid wood, it won't damage knife blades when cutting and stays firmly on the worktop. Suitable for any type of product, it's ideal for presenting cured meats and cheeses.
MAINTENANCE:
Before use, apply a little vegetable oil to a cloth and rub it over the entire cutting board, oiling it once. The oiled cutting board will be darker than the original. Then, place it upright and let it dry. Then repeat the process a second time, letting it dry again. Make sure the oil is absorbed and wash thoroughly.
CLEANING:
For additional cleaning, sprinkle the surface with salt and half a lemon every month. The salt will help remove any food residue on the cutting board. The lemon juice will help eliminate unpleasant odors. After cleaning, rinse with hot water and wipe the cutting board with a clean cloth.
