Lalique Vase Perruches Vase

Finding a fragment of plaster representing a parakeet motif in René Lalique's old workshops, it was discovered that René Lalique had created it for a vase he had made only in wax and exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Now produced using the lost wax technique, the Perruches Vase recreates this motif, resulting in pairs of parakeets. Immersed among the flowers and illuminated by the crystal they appear light and elegant. The production process requires several weeks of work during which Lalique master glassmakers show their talent, passion and expertise for the creation and emotion of this true work of art.
